I wore this to a haunted house and got genuine screams from two separate groups of strangers, which never happens to me. The crazed laugh printed across the mouth is what sells it. My only note is the eyeholes sit a little close together, but I forgot about it after ten minutes.
The bulging eyes on this clown mask are genuinely unsettling—my friends actually jumped when I walked in. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking home that best costume award this year.
The bulging eyes are what sold me, they look genuinely unsettling up close rather than cheap and flat like most masks. Only gripe is the eye holes are a bit small, so my vision was limited and I had to tilt my head to see. Still, the laughing expression got plenty of reactions at my party.
